The following are representative examples of the many common “Frequently Asked Questions” considered by the Lakewood Architectural Review Committee relating to the Lakewood Declarations, Restrictions and Covenants.  The topics are divided into three categories:  (1) Boat docks, (2) Building permits and structures, and (3) Miscellaneous Topics.  Additional topics may be added in the future.

The FAQs are for informational purposes only and are intended to assist and inform residents.  The FAQs are only a representative sample of many of the subject matters actually governed by the Covenants.  Residents are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the all provisions of the Covenants which are available on this website, and are also encouraged to contact the Architectural Review Committee if they have any questions.

The Lakewood Covenants provide that the Architectural Review Committee (“ARC”) must review and approve all home construction plans, additions or modifications.  Other review matters under the covenants include, but are not limited to:
